"Aashwasan" campaign kicks off

CHANDEL, Feb 18: Aashwasan, a '100 days-100 districts' campaign to promote Covid-19 vaccination and find active TB cases was launched for Chandel district on Friday.
The campaign was flagged off by Dr Thangpa Serto, State TB Officer-NTEP Manipur and Chief Medical Officer Chandel, Dr Serthani Serbum from the CMO Chandel office in Hnatham village, Chandel.
District TB Officer Chandel, Dr Koko Saka; State TB Cell Manipur, ACSM, K Deben; District TB Cell Chandel, STS, W Ratan; Piramal Swasthya Management and Research Institute, Zonal leader Manipur, Dr Kushal Kumar Sahu; and District co-ordinator Chandel, Ng Vikram Moyon attended the flag-off ceremony.
As part of the campaign a training programme was also conducted at District TB Office Chandel.
It may be mentioned that the project, supported by United States Agency International Development (USAID), will be implemented by Piramal Swasthya Management and Research Institute under its tribal health programme ‘Anamaya’, with the help of CMO Chandel.
