Governor greets

IMPHAL, Feb 17
Governor La Ganesan has extended his heartiest greetings on the occasion of the 186th birth anniversary of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa which falls on February 18.
In his message, the Governor said,'He was instrumental in the resurgence of Hinduism. His teachings resonated with multiple people. More than religion, it was a message of spiritual kindness that echoed throughout his teachings'.
The Governor also mentioned that one of his disciples, Narendranath Datta who was once a profound atheist was transformed by Paramahamsa's teachings and became Swami Vivekananda.
