More demand justice

IMPHAL, Feb 15 : The World Meetei Council (Nagaland State Unit) and Dimapur Meetei Council have condemned the killing of two Meeteis, Keisham Prabin Singha (45) and Nambram Nipen Singha (49) residents of Bamrampur village in Cachar district of Assam at Mizoram some time back.
Condemning the killings in different statements issued today, WMC Nagaland State Unit and Dimapur Meetei Council appealed the Government of Mizoram not to delay in delivering justice and book the culprits at the earliest.
Dimapur Meetei Council also said the case should be handed over to CBI.
It is noteworthy to remember that Keisham Prabin was found dead in a suspicious manner on January 30 while Nambram Nipen reportedly committed suicide in judicial custody on February 8.
