APSCS condoles

IMPHAL, Feb 15 :  Association of Premier State College Seniors, Manipur (APSCS) conducted an executive committee meeting today to condole the passing of Dr Haobam Devendra Singh, retd Acting Director, RRL CSIR, Jorhat and a renowned CSIR NEIST scientist on February 8, 2022 at his residence in Chingamathak Imphal. He was 92.
In a statement, APSCS shared that the Association had honoured Dr Devendra Singh on Teachers' Day in 2009 for setting an enviable academic record and his exemplary service in the field of science. APSCS further stated that with his demise, the State, the North-East students and budding scientists had lost a reputed guide.
The gathering observed a 2-minute silence.
