Manipur focusing on peace and development under BJP's helm, says Kiren Rijiju

IMPHAL, Feb 12 : Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju has categorically stated that Manipur is now focusing on peace and development with the BJP at helm in both the Centre and the State.
Addressing a function at the residence of BJP candidate  of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC at Ningthemcha Karong today, the Union Minister continued that Manipur was filled with conflict situations in the past due to the non commitment of the previous Government.
Saying that the BJP led Government headed by Chief Minister  N Biren has brought development in many sectors, Kiren Rijiju maintained that the Government at the Centre has taken up many projects to develop the North East region further.
He then appealed to all to support BJP in the ensuing election .
Maintaining that he is delighted to land in Manipur after a long gap, the Union Minister added that the relationship between hills and valley people has improved considerably with the coming of the BJP Government.
