Federation of Haomee appeals

IMPHAL, Feb 11
In view of the instances of violence and other untoward incidents that have occurred in connection with the ensuing 12th Manipur State Legislative election 2022, Federation of Haomee has appealed to the people of the State to cast their vote for the candidate of their choice without any fuss and further take up measures to curb the occurrence of regrettable incidents.
In a statement, Federation of Haomee stated that elections will come and go but feelings of ill-will left behind by these incidents will continue to fester in the future and create a divide between otherwise perfectly amicable neighbours.
Further, the statement urged the people to select a candidate who is aware of the indigenous culture and history of the people and who will not only work for the welfare of the people but also for the preservation of the State's rich heritage in terms of history, culture and religion.
Federation of Haomee further stated that Manipur is in dire need of a sincere leader with a courageous spirit and a patriotic heart. As such, electing a worthy leader with these remarkable qualities is up to the people, the statement added.
