AMUCO greets

IMPHAL, Feb 11 : The All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) has extended gratitude to the people of Manipur and its past and present members for  their contribution to the organisation on the eve of its 29th foundation day.
In a statement, AMUCO said that they have been standing firm against any attempt which challenges the State's integrity and cordial relationship shared by the people since its establishment.
Continuing that AMUCO and the people of Manipur are well aware of the constant efforts being made to create division among the people of Manipur, the statement added such tactics could not yield results.
AMUCO has also been resolving issues which have the potential to create animosity among the people, it said and urged all to be wary of the divide and rule policy of the Government of India.
Maintaining that the public rally of August 4, 1997 which is still considered as the biggest of its kind in Southeast Asia is a reminder that the integrity of Manipur could not be compromised under any circumstances, AMUCO urged all the people of Manipur to play their parts in saving the State and also prayed for the end of the pandemic.
