Moreh Pastors' Fellowship appeals
TENGNOUPAL, Feb 9
The Moreh Pastors' Fellowship has appealed to the Election Commission of India to reconsider rescheduling the first phase of polling date of the upcoming Assembly election, which falls on a Sunday to another day.
In a release, Moreh Pastors' Fellowship stated that the scheduling of Manipur Assembly election on Sunday is unfortunate.
The fellowship further urged the ECI to give regard to the sentiments of all religions and consider rescheduling the ensuing election on any convenient day other than Sunday so that every citizen could enjoy the right to vote as granted by the Indian Constitution.
