Flag hoisting ceremonies held

CHD/TPL, Feb 10: Flag hoisting ceremony of Langhu Paulhring Anal, who is going to contest the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election from Chandel Assembly Constituency as a NPF candidate, was held on Thursday at Unopat Public Ground in Chandel.
Speaking on the occasion, Langhu Paulhring Anal stated that if he is elected to the assembly, he will focus on eradicating the menace of drug and substance abuse from the state.
The NPF candidate continued that he would strive to ensure peaceful coexistence of all communities residing in Chandel AC and bring tangible development in the constituency.
He also announced that he would address all the issues mentioned in the party manifesto including the establishment of rehabilitation centres to help the youths who have been suffering from drugs and substance addiction.
Langhu Paulhring Anal further mentioned that he would also focus on the education sector and road connectivity.
Stressing on the need to create employment opportunities for youths of the state, ex-MLA, Bd Behring announced that if NPF becomes a part of the Government, the party would ensure a policy especially for the youths.
The ceremony was attended by NPF leaders including St Victor Nunghlung, ex-MLA Chandel AC; Bd Behring; Ts Beton, member Seven Brothers; SK Setoi, president 41NPF Chandel Area Unit, Langhu Startson, president NPF Chandel Division and local chiefs.

Flag hoisting ceremony of Letpao Haokip, BJP candidate for 42-Tengnoupal AC was also conducted at the office of Central Election Committee in Moreh with BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda Devi hoisting the party flag.
Later, a formal function was held at Galngam Lentol ground attended by A Sharda Devi, Minister Letpao Haokip, BJP leaders, community leaders  of Moreh town and village chiefs.
Speaking on the occasion, Letpao Haokip announced that he decided to contest the ensuing election from Tengnoupal AC to ensure communal harmony and development in the district.
The Minister also mentioned that he would focus on the heath and education sector, welfare activities for the downtrodden, drug abuse, etc.
A Sharda Devi also appealed to the people of Tengnoupal AC to provide their assistance to Letpao Haokip in the ensuing assembly election to bring forth a better society.
