Prize distribution ceremony held

A prize distribution ceremony of the only essay writing competition held on February 6 in connection with the observation of Iconic Week was conducted today at Angaan Ching Eco Park, Kakching with ADM Kakching, Adhari Mahio, MCS, as chief guest.
The essay writing competition was organised by ADAM, Implementation Support Agency of JJM Kakching in collaboration with District Water and Sanitation Committee Kakching.
Winners of the competition in order of merit for class IX to XI category are- Yengkhom Parlin, Jiteshkumar Laitonjam, and Th Premita.
For class VI to VIII category- Md Zunet Ahamed, Kshetrimayum Ashis, and Thokchom Roshni.
ADAM secretary and team leader of ISA, JJM, Kakching District, Surjit Kshetrimayum also attended the programme.
Similarly, prize distribution ceremony of the online essay writing competition organised by PHED Thoubal District in association with ISA, Public Helping Organisation (PHO) was also held at the Office of Executive Engineer, PHED Thoubal Division, said a release issued by PHO.
Winners of the competition in order of merit for Senior category- Anju Naorem, Ruda Academy Thoubal; Nikita Naorem, Ruda Academy Thoubal; and Ngathem Amarjit Singh, Tangjeng Ningthou Flower School.
For the Junior category- Jessica Narengbam, Soibam Reeky Singh, and Pushpa Narengbam of  Progressive English School.
The competition was conducted on the topics, "Efficient plastic waste management and clean environment" for the senior category and "Health and clean drinking water" for the junior category.
