Shots fired

IMPHAL, Feb 9 : Unknown gunmen fired four rounds at the residence of one Shanglakpam Angou (59) of Chanam Sandrok Bamon Leikai under Keirao AC at around 1.15 am today.
Shanglakpam Angou is a priest/cook by profession and is also a worker of NPP. During the incident a car parked inside the garage received some damage.
Speaking to media, Angou said the incident might have a political angle as he was approached by some BJP workers recently to withdraw his support to NPP and support their party.
A sit-in protest was also staged later today by locals against the firing at the residence of Shanglakpam Angou.
