Bishnupur police seize liquor

BISHNUPUR, Feb 9
As part of the drive against illicit liquor in view of the upcoming Assembly election, teams of CDO Bishnupur led by SI Birkumar, ASI Prameshor, HC Basanta and HC Nungshithoi under the command of Shakti Shen, OC Bishnupur conducted raids at various locations of Moirang Police Station jurisdiction on Tuesday.
The raids were conducted under the overall supervision of Roni Mayengbam, MPS, Additional SP (Ops) Bishnupur, said police.
The police team seized the following items- 11 bottles of 500ml Old Monk, 17 bottles of 250ml McDowell No 1, 2 bottles of 250ml OC Blue, 41 Kingfisher Beer canes, 9 Diablo Beer canes, and 155 Litre of DIC Liquor.
The seized items were handed over to Moirang PS for further necessary action.
