Core Committee condemns bomb attack

SENAPATI, Dec 31 : The Mayangkhang Area Naga Villages Core Committee has vehemently condemned the bomb attack carried out by unknown miscreants at Mayangkhang Khunou on December 27, 2022.
In a release, the committee informed that the bomb attack damaged the Bitumen Paver machine of Leckon Infrastructure Pvt Ltd used for highway expansion works.
The company is presently working on the road expansion work of NH-2 Imphal-Dimapur Road along T Khullen and Kuki Taphou stretch.
Denouncing the tragic incident, the Core Committee stated that the Leckon company is continuously facing hardship and different issues since they began the road expansion work.
"Such act of terrorism should not be repeated in the peace loving area. It will not be tolerated and strong action will be taken according to the law of the land if repeated in future", asserted the Core Committee while terming the persons involved in the incident as anti-people & anti-development.
