38th All Manipur Medical Conference begins

IMPHAL, Dec 10: The inaugural function of the 38th All Manipur Medical Conference (AMAMECON) 2022 was held today at Indian Medical Association (IMA) hall, Lamphelpat.
The 38th AMAMECON 2022 is being held under the theme 'Ageing Gracefully' and it will conclude tomorrow.
During the conference, many topics related to medical importance will be discussed.
The inaugural function was graced by Uripok Assembly Constituency MLA Khwairakpam Raghumani; IMA , Manipur state Branch president Dr Jugindra Sorokhaibam ; Shija Academy of Health sciences, Langol Director, Dr Maisnam Amuba Singh; Former Director of Ayush, Govt of Manipur, Dr Karam Lokendro and IMA - South East Manipur Branch, Dr Ksh Manglem as the presidium members.
Speaking as the chief guest, Kh Raghumani expressed that medical field has become technology based along with the scientific and technology advancement.
He further appealed to the doctors and health care leaders to bring a change in the society in health care sector by providing value based health care practices
Organising secretary Dr James Elangbam and Reception Committee Chairperson Dr A Vivekananda Singh also attended as the dais members.
