Blood donation camp conducted

IMPHAL, Oct 7: A blood donation camp was held today at JNIMS Hospital in connection with the upcoming 'Mera Hou Chongba' festival which is celebrated to promote unity and brotherhood among the different indigenous communities of the State.
Around 50 individuals donated blood today during the camp which was organised by International Mutum Trust, Imphal and JNIMS Hospital.
Speaking in connection with the blood camp, Trustee Member Mutum Somorjit said that the blood donation camp has been organised to help in fulfilling the blood requirement in the State.
Similar blood donation camps will be held in other hospitals of the State, he added.
