Webcasting of PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022 held at various places

THB/UKL/KPI, Oct 17 : Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Hengbung today organised the webcasting programme of "Prime Minister Kisan Samman Sammelan-2022 and Agri-Start Up Conclave" at its campus in Hengbung today.
It was attended by Lunkhoseh Kipgen, president BJP ST Morcha Kangpokpi District; Dr Th Dhanaraj Singh, Dean (I/C), FGI-College of Biotechnology, Hengbung and Dr N Jyotsna, Senior Scientist & Head, KVK, Hengbung as presidium members, said a release issued by Dr Nongthombam Muhindro Singh, SMS, KVK Hengbung.
At the event, Lunkhoseh Kipgen, president BJP ST Morcha Kangpokpi District stated that farmers should use fertilizers wisely as per the recommended doses of the experts.
"They should regularly do soil testing of their fields at KVK, Hengbung", said Lunkhoseh while urging the farmers to form vibrant Self Help Groups or Farmer Clubs through KVK, Hengbung to avail financial credit linkages with banks.
During the programme, two progressive farmers namely Shabun Balang of Makuilongdi village and Achow Thuimai of Makhan village were felicitated & honoured for successfully doubling their farm income through their respective farm activities.
Agricultural inputs such as sprayer, pea seeds, mushroom spawn, neem products, vermibags, vermicompost and tree saplings of lemon & tree beans, etc were distributed to about 41 farmers.
THOUBAL
KVK Thoubal also organised the webcasting programme of "PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022" at its training hall in Thoubal.
It was attended by Wangbal GP Pradhan, H Manichandra; BJP Thoubal District president, Y Kumarijit; Rice Research Station Wangbal, rice breeder N Kumar and KVK Thoubal Sr Scientist & Head, Dr S Zeshmarani as presidium members.
A total of 98 participants took part in the programme.
UKHRUL
KVK Ukhrul District, Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR), Manipur Centre also organised the webcasting programme of PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022 at KVK office,  Hungpung, Ukhrul.
It was attended by Chuihaola, chairperson Kaziphung SHG Federation; Dr PA Ramsem, SMS (soil); and Joy Horam, president Bharatiya Kisan Sangh Ukhrul as presidium members.
Dr Solei Luiram, Head i/c KVK Ukhrul highlighted the purpose of the programme.
Altogether, 61 farmers participated in the programme.
