Coronation ceremony of JBA chairman held

Chandel, Oct 15 : Coronation ceremony of Js Angam Anal as the new chief/chairman of Japhou Bazar Authority (JBA), Chandel was held today at District Headquarter Baptist Church campus in Chandel district.
The ceremony was attended by ALCA president, KL John Motab as the Oath Taking Minister, District Headquarter Baptist Church pastor, LH Alembert as Blessing Administrator and JBA Speaker, LH Jonah as Ceremony Master.
Deputy Commissioner Chandel, Mayanglambam Rajkumar; chiefs of 42 villages, former ADC Members and Women Society members also took part in the ceremony.
Folk songs and dance as part of the Customary Coronation Proceeding were the main highlights of the event.
During the event, Js Angam Anal presented gifts to the newly elected members of JBA, chiefs and elders.
