Premier show of shumang leela 'Ima Macha' held

KAKCHING, Jan 4: The premier show of the sumang lila titled 'Ima Macha' presented by Time Star Artists Union was held at Langmeidong Maning Awang Leikai in Kakching district today.
The play is directed by Gokul Mangang and is produced by Jagat Khuman and Ratan Achanbigei and the playwright by Heisanamcha Damendra.
The sumang lila is about the story of an unmarried mother bringing up orphaned siblings who later went to become dignified personalities.
It also portrayed the pros and cons of mobile phones and the ill effect of giving too much freedom to one's children.
The cast of the play include renowned artists of Manipur Huikap Gokul, Nokphade Kuber, Joy Arapti, Sagar and Kapil in the main male cast while Sarju Thoubal, Hoby Bashikhong and Angangcha in the female cast.
The music direction is given by Ringo and Mangiraj and Pahari as the lead male and female vocalists respectively.
It is worth mentioning that Time Star Artists Union has produced more than 20 plays including popular plays-Angangba Kundo, Imatongi vendor, City police among others.
