Awardees felicitated

KAKCHING, Jan 29: Elangbam Tondonbi Singh Memorial Charitable Trust on Saturday felicitated nine recipients of national and international awards in various fields conferred by the Dalit Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi and Dalit Sahitya Akademi, Nepal.
Dr BR Ambedkar National Award 2021 recipient Thongam Ibomcha from Lamjao Awang Leikai, Achouba Yumnam from Langmeidong Bazar, Naorem Munal Meitei from Kakching Mayai Leikai, Thokchom Romola Chanu  from Elangkhanpokpi Yangdong, Moibungkhongbam Romio from Wangoo Mamang Sabal Nungai Leikai, Mayanglamabam Chandrashekhar from Kakching Khunou, Mutum Ramani Devi from Khurai Chingangbam Leikai, Nongthombam Bishwarjit from Hiyanglam Mayai Leikai and Indo Nepal International Friendship Award 2021 recipient Laishram Babu Meitei from Langmeidong Mamang Leikai were feted on the occasion.
The event was attended by Khumukcham Leima Devi, Kakching Khunou Municipal Council Caretaker Chairperson, Thounaojam Ngouba, Lifetime  Achievement International Awardee and Director Elangbam Tondonbi Singh Memorial Charitable Trust and secretary Wahengbam Amusana Devi as presidium members.
The felicitation ceremony was held at Legal Aid Clinic, Hiyanglam Awang Leikai.
