Winter gifts distributed

THOUBAL, Jan 3: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Manipur State Branch on Monday distributed blankets to about 100 persons as winter gifts at BM Muzaffar Ali Masjid in Lilong Ubakthong.
The programme was sponsored by Society for Bright Future New Delhi as part of its 'Project Rahat'.
It was attended by MSPDCL Deputy General Manager, Mohd Riyajuddin Khan; Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Manipur State Branch organizer and Nazim-E-Riyaasat-E-Manipur Nagaland, Abdul Helim; and Rural Engineering Department, Executive Engineer, Md Maniruddin as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Helim stated that the gifts were distributed as part of the annual Winter Relief Project of Society for Bright Future New Delhi.
He also mentioned that the objective of Project Rahat is to provide assistance to the poor and destitute people and promote peace & harmony in the society.
