GRJ condemns

IMPHAL, Jan 23 : Global Rights and Justice Welfare Society, Manipur (GRAJ) condemned the killing of 13 innocent civilians by security forces at Mon district in Nagaland on the intervening night of December 4 and 5.
In a statement issued today, GRAJ said the extra-judicial killings had been made possible by the existence of draconian law like AFSPA,1958 which gives the security personnels special powers to arrest and enter property without warrant and also power to shoot to kill.
GRAJ demanded the repealing of such laws at the earliest as they are un-democratic and challenge the right to life.
