'Appoint a regular chairperson of Manipur State Commission for Women'

The All Manipur Women's Social Reformation & Development Samaj has appealed to all concerned to appoint a regular chairperson of Manipur State Commission for Women (MSCW).
The women's body in a statement has expressed concern over the recent turmoil surrounding the MSCW which has been flashed in media platforms and termed it really unfortunate for the women of Manipuri society.
Further it maintained that the commission was founded  for upliftment of women in the State and to look into women centric issues and to solve it accordingly however contrary to such objectives, the commission is experiencing some internal conflicts and related issues which have been reported in the media.
Therefore to ensure that the issue is solved and the commission starts functioning smoothly, the All Manipur Women's Social Reformation & Development Samaj has appealed to the Government to intervene and look into the matter and appoint a regular chairperson at the earliest.
