Manipur Home Guard Employees Welfare Assn appeals

IMPHAL, Jan 19
The Manipur Home Guard Employees Welfare Association has written to the Secretary, Election Commission of India requesting to extend the facility of postal ballot to Manipur State Home Guards who are on poll duty in the General Election-2022.
The letter also mentioned that the Home Guards personnel of the State may take the decision to abstain from election duty to franchise their rights if they have not been extended the facility of postal ballot.
