Hawkers appeal

IMPHAL, Jan 18 : General Secretary of Manipur Hawkers' Association (MHA), L Surjit Singh has appealed to the hawkers of the State to get their identity cards renewed by January 31, 2022.
In a statement, MHA said that the Association will join hands with All Manipur Working Journalists' Union to ensure that hawkers with invalid identity cards do not display the Association's stickers on their vehicles.
The statement further informed the hawkers to submit a xerox copy of their identity card along with the required fees at the counter of Ireipak, Konung Lampak.
MHA also urged persons employed as hawkers but without MHA identity card to acquire the same with the caution that in the near future media houses might not supply newspapers to hawkers without MHA identity cards.
