IMPHAL, Jan 16 : With the completion of the country's 'One Year of Vaccination', three North Eastern States Nagaland, Meghalaya and Manipur have emerged as the States with the least rate of vaccination.
As per data available from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Nagaland has vaccinated 36 percent of its total population with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, Meghalaya 39 percent and Manipur 43 percent of its total population.
With this tally these three North Eastern States are the worst performing States in the entire country in vaccinating their populace with the first dose of the vaccine since the vaccination drive kicked off on January 16 last year.
