Rhythms of Manipur showcase 'Sana Leibak Manipur' at NE Fest

IMPHAL, Jan 11 : Rhythms of Manipur presented the State song of Manipur penned by renowned music composer Aribam Syam Sharma "Sana Leibak Manipur" and enthralled the audience at the 9th North East Festival held at Guwahati from January 7 to 10.
In a statement, Rhythms of Manipur informed that the fest was organised by Trend MNS, a Guwahati-based NGO working for the promotion of the region and was held at the lawn of Hotel Radisson Blu.
Dance and music performances of renowned groups, bands and artists and fashion shows were the main events of the three-day festival, the statement added.
Further, Rhythms of Manipur also presented the Doordarshan National Award winning music composition "Dancing Drummers" on January 8 and 9.
Union Inland Waterways Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, who is the former Chief Minister of Assam  attended the festival on January 9, the statement informed.
