Norms issued

IMPHAL, Jan 9 : The District Magistrate Imphal West has issued restrictions and norms to be followed by all residents of the district in view of the upcoming election and the increasing pace of the pandemic.
As per an order issued today, anybody violating instructions on COVID-19 measures will be liable to be proceeded against under applicable legal provisions, the use of public address system or loudspeakers or any sound amplifier is banned during 8 pm and 8 am.
Social gathering has been allowed provided all Covid Appropriate Behaviors are strictly observed preferably in open halls and spaces.
The ban on physical meeting, road show, procession, cycle/bike/vehicle rally by ECI till January 15 should be strictly observed, added the order.
