Atal Tinkering Laboratory installed

THOUBAL, Sep 27: Under NITI Aayog's initiative of establishing Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) across the schools in India, Progressive English School, Lamding, Thoubal celebrated the installation of ATL in its campus today.  
The event was attended by Surjakumar Okram, MLA Khangabok AC; Dr Moirangthem Nara Singh, chief advisor Progressive English School and former Minister; Nahakpam Babulin, founder Slopeland Public School; Thokchom Sanju Singh, founder Edulife India, Bangalore; Ahongsangbam Bishorjit, Assistant Director, Directorate of Economics & Statistics; Chongtham Sanjoy, Chartered Accountant and Narengbam Livingstone, Executive Engineer PHED Thoubal as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, Okram Surjakumar stated that the Atal Tinkering Laboratory project will be beneficial in discerning students' specific areas of interest and hence be the stepping stone in the pursuance of their interest.
Narengbam Robindro, secretary of Progressive English School's governing body, honoured the teachers and individuals who worked tirelessly to have ATL installed in the school with gifts and certificates.
Moreover, Edulife India Bangalore also showed a visual demonstration that explained in detail about the 500+ ATLs installed in schools across India.
It is worth mentioning that in Manipur alone, ATLs have been installed in over 60 school campuses.
