UKLF cadre apprehended

IMPHAL, Sep 24: A team of Imphal East Commando arrested a cadre of UKLF from T Phainum Village in Leimakhong area yesterday morning.
The arrested cadre of UKLF was identified as one Thangkholen Baite@Thang bem (38), s/o (late) Hemkhojam Baite of Moreh ward number 7, Zionveng Village.
During preliminary interrogation, he revealed that he was directly involved in the killing of Chungsei Haokip, who was the vice president of JDU on April 25, 2010 at New Checkon.
The arrested person has been handed over to Sapermeina Police Station for further legal proceedings.
