IMPHAL, Sep 20: The nation wide campaign 'Young India ke Bol', a campaign against unemployment and other issues faced by the youths of the country was also launched in Manipur today.
The campaign was launched by the spokesperson of All India Youth Congress Committee, Gourav Jain.
Speaking on the occasion, Gourav Jain said that due to curtailment of the freedom of media in the country, many media houses have stopped discussing about the ground realities.
Hence inorder to voice the struggles and grievances of the youths across the country, the campaign has been launched, he added.
He continued that in connection with the nation wide campaign, five spokesperson from each State will be appointed.
Working president of Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress Committee, S Johny Meitei who was present on the occasion, said that 'Young India ke Bol' will provide a platform for the youths of India to voice about their grievances on various issues to ensure that it reaches the Central Government and respective State Governments.
He further stated that those who wish to participate in the said campaign must be within the age group of 18-35 years and should upload a one and a half minute or two minutes long video on social media platforms after registering themselves for the campaign.
Based on the videos uploaded on social media, a jury team of legal experts and senior party leaders will select it on a State level which will be forwarded to All India Youth Congress, he continued.
Also he stated that the main event will be held on November 14 and a National spokesperson will be selected on the day.
