Manipur Archery Association announces State team for Senior Nationals

The Manipur Archery Association has announced names of archers who will represent Manipur at the 40th NTPC Senior National Archery Championships for the Indian Round, Compound and Recurve (Men and Women) to be held at Tata Nagar, Jamshedpur from October 1 to 10. As per an office memorandum archers who will participate in various events scheduled on different dates are as follows.
Indian Round (October 1 to 3) Women: M Baby Devi (KMAC), Okram Naobi Devi (SICA), L Tomthinganbi (ARAC) and W Malesori (BCAC);
Men : S Robert Singh (ITAC), Ch Nelson (ITAC), H Bijendranath Singh (KMAC) and Chingkhei Meitei (FAC).
N Arjun, W Bikash and K Devananda will be team officials accompanying the Indian Round archers.
Compound Division (October 4 to 6) Women : Mutum Rupan Devi (UAC), Paonam Lily Chanu (SAIRC), K Pravahini (VAA) and Suchitra Tourangbam (VAA);
Men : G Robert Sharma (ARAC), Welson Meitei (ARAC), Y Rojit (NSA) and P Jagat (ARAC).
M Jamini Devi, GA Manju Devi and K Devananda were named as team officials of the team.
Recurve Division (October 7 to 9) Women : Th Sanai (SAIRC), Th Shwashita Devi (SAIRC), Rabina (NSA) and Manisha Hembram (ARAC);
Men : AK Amarjit Singh (SAIRC), M Malemnganba Meitei (FAC), T Sen (ARAC) and Th Sanatomba Singh (ARAC).
B Gunicha, Ch Shanta Devi and K Devananda Singh were named as team officials of the recurve team. A coaching programme will be initiated soon ahead of the championship, the association added.
