H Lhungdim no more

Former president of Kuki Inpi Manipur, Holkholun Lhungdim (68) passed away on Sunday at AIIMS New Delhi.
As per sources, the prominent figure among the Kuki community suffered a massive heart attack yesterday. He was rushed to AIIMS immediately where he was treated and eventually took his last breath. Tributes and condolences have poured in from colleagues, CSOs and political circles across the community. The mortal remains of Late Holkholun Lhungdim will arrive in his village, Molnom in Churachandpur tomorrow and the last rite will be held on Tuesday after a formal funeral event.
