Strike suspended

IMPHAL, Sep 15 : The ongoing strike by electricity employees against the non-implementation of 7th Pay (ROP-2019) which began on September 8 has been suspended by The Manipur Electricity Employees' Union till September 20 on account of the immense inconvenience caused to the public. A press release issued by MEEU stated that if 7th Pay (ROP-2019) is not fully implemented by September 20, their strike will resume.
