LPG strike

IMPHAL, Sep 15 : All Manipur Bulk LPG Transporters Association will discontinue transportation of bulk LPG at Indian Oil Corporation Ltd's (IOCL) LPG bottling plant in Awang Sekmai from today.
The decision to stop the service was taken at a meeting which was held on September 1 and 14 after IOCL paid no heed to the demands of the association.
The Deputy General Manager (Ops) of IOCL, All Manipur Road Transport Drivers and Motor Workers Union and All Manipur Petroleum Products Drivers Association were informed of the decision of the association.
The discontinuation of service will continue till an agreement is reached between IOCL and the association, it said.
