Royal Charter Day celebrated

The Institution of Engineers (India) Manipur State Centre celebrated “Royal Charter Day” on September 9 (Thursday) through hybrid mode (online) and at the Seminar Hall of the State Centre at Government Polytechnic Campus, Takyel, said a press release by the institution.
The welcome addressed was delivered by Achom Roudrajit Moirang, MIE, Secretary of IEI Manipur State Centre.
The celebration was graced by R R Tanwar, FIE, Chairman, Centre’s Coordinating Committee (CCC), IEI HQ as Chief Guest and keynote speaker.
He spoke about the importance of celebrating the Royal Charter Day and narrated a brief history about the Institution.  He also spoke at length about his experience during his tenure at various corporations, companies and projects and talked in brief about his experience during his stay in Manipur as Sub-Divisional Officer (Electrical/HQ) from 1974-86 at Loktak Project Manipur.
The presidential address was delivered by Thangjam Joykumar Singh, FIE, Chairman, IEI Manipur State Centre.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Achom Roudrajit Moirang, MIE, Secretary of IEI Manipur State Centre and the event was hosted by Dr Thokchom Subhaschandra Singh, Joint Secretary of IEI Manipur State Centre. Various State Centre’s of IEI from different parts of India, former Chairmen of IEI Manipur State Centre, Corporate Members of IEI Manipur State Centre also attended the event.
