Shiksha Vikash Samiti Manipur felicitates newly appointed VCs

Shiksha Vikash Samiti Manipur felicitated the newly appointed vice chancellors of Manipur University, DM University and Tripura Central University today in a simple ceremony held at Bal Vidya Mandir at Palace Compound adhering to Covid SOPs.
The three newly appointed VCs namely Prof L Lokendra Singh, VC of MU, Prof N Rajmuhon Singh, VC of DM University and Prof Ganga Prasad Prasain, VC of Tripura Central University who is also the president of Vidya Bharati Purvottar Kshetra were presented an appreciation certificate, Lengyan Phee (traditional shawl) and a book each in today's program which was presided by the president of Shiksha Vikash Samiti Manipur, said a statement by  the Samiti. Speaking on the occasion, Prof N Lokendra spoke in detail about the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Prof N Rajmuhon Singh presented about the pros and cons of NEP 2020 in today's education system. He continued that with the continuous efforts of youths of today, India will be in an advanced position globally and stated that the teachers play a pivotal role in shaping a good citizen. Prof Ganga Prasad Prasain gave assurance that a new model schools will be built in all the districts of Manipur in addition to Vidya Bharati schools.
