Kangleipak Kanba Lup decries

Kangleipak Kanba Lup (KKL), Manipur has reacted strongly against the naming of Jama Masjid as Sadar Bazar and urged all concerned to refrain from using Sadar Bazar in public.
KKL held a meeting in this regard and resolved to firmly stand to retain the identity and culture of the indigenous people, said a press release by KKL.
The Lup maintained that only 'Paona Bazar' is approved by the Government which has been named in the honour of  the valiant warrior Paona Brajabashi and earnestly appealed to all concerned not to bring in other names. KKL further stated that naming Sadar Bazar within Paona Bazar is against the Government authorities and is highly controversial therefore one should refrain from using Sadar Bazar in public in order to avoid any untoward outcome.
