Widow pension

IMPHAL, Aug 29 (DIPR) : Agriculture, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry and Tourism Minister Oinam Lukhoi Singh today assured a financial assistance of Rs 200 every month for the widows (18 to 50 Years) of Wangoi Assembly Constituency, Imphal West.
This was announced by the Minister during his visit for distribution of Free Rice (50 Kgs) to all the families of Widows in his AC today.
The Minister expressed that the Government always works for the welfare of all the people of  Manipur with special attention to the poor and needy ones. During the interaction with the widows, Oinam Lukhoi highlighted various welfare schemes and projects taken up by the Government to uplift the lives of the people at all times.
Various infrastructural developments were also inspected during the visit.
