Death anniversary of Haipou Jadonang to be observed

All Zeliangrong Arts & Cultural Organisation (AZACO), Manipur will be commemorating the martyr day of Freedom Fighter Haipou Jadonang on August 29 and requested all the attend the event.
AZACO in a press release also requested all to lit a candle in every household on the day as a mark of respect and remembrance.
Also Federation of Haomee representing all the indigenous communities of the State paid homage to Haipou Jadonang Kabui on the occasion of his death anniversary.
Haipou Jadonang Kabui was among the valiant freedom fighters of Manipur who strove selflessly to free Manipur from the British rule, stated the federation.
In a press release, Federation of Haomee also appealed to the people of Manipur not to be misled by the propaganda of some vested politicians who are trying to portray the freedom struggle of Manipur fought by its brave fighters as that of India's freedom struggle.
