Covid leela

Imphal, Jul 1, (DIPR) : Rehearsal of a Shumang Leela play based on COVID-19 pandemic titled “Keidoubagi Kidoino” continued on Thursday at Iboyaima Shumang Leela Shanglen, Palace Compound.
The play which is aimed at raising awareness on COVID-19, use of vaccination and Covid appropriate behaviour, is all set to premiere on July 5.
The duration of the play is about one and a half hour.
Padma Shri awardee and chairman of Academic Sub-Committee of Manipur State Shumang Leela Council (MSSLC) Wareppa Naba is the consultant of the play.
The play is directed by Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee Sh Hemanta while Ranjit Ningthouja is the script writer
Director IPR, Balkrishna Heisnam and Deputy Director IPR, Lairenlakpam Ashokumar attended the rehearsal session of the play.
The play is totally funded and organised by the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Manipur.
