Campus recruitment at NIT ManipurMicrosoft offers Rs 42.5 lakh pay to two

IMPHAL, Jun 8 : Many students of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Manipur received huge pay packages from renowned companies during campus placements this year.
Microsoft offered a pay package of Rs 42.5 lakh per annum to students of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Manipur namely Rachit Kumar Tiwari and Sushmita Dhal.
Another student Avichal Srivastava got an offer of Rs 33 lakh per annum from Intuit.
A press release issued by NIT Manipur said that this year 58 final year students received job offers during campus placement.
Some of the well known companies which came for campus placement are Microsoft, Intuit, TCS, Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, LNT, Infosys among others.
It may be noted that normal teaching and learning in classrooms and laboratories could not be carried out since the onset of COVID-19 pandemic last year therefore NIT Manipur adopted new ways to carry out its various academic activities in online platform and in a short period of time purchased Webex, laptops etc to facilitate faculty members to conduct online classes.
