IMPHAL, Jun 5 : The Human Rights Defenders' Alert, India (HRDA-I) has written to the National Human Rights Commission charging that fabricated charges under NSA have been whipped up against HRDs by the State Government for posting on social media on ‘inefficiency of cow dung and cow urine in fighting Covid’.
In the communication sent to NHRC, the HRDA-I, said “We are writing to express our shock and grave concerns regarding the fabricated and arbitrary slapping of the National Security Act (NSA) on Wangkhemcha Wangthoi @ Kishorechand (journalist) and Erendro Leichombam (political activist).
