Anal Lenruwl Tangpi appeals

The Anal Lenruwl Tangpi highlighted the various problems faced by the people of Chakpikarong with the onset of different season due to the alleged negligence of low standard of work or indifferent attitude by the Government agencies in catering their services in the region.
ALT, in a statement informed that the road connecting to the Sub-division which is the only lifeline is in a deplorable condition with many pitfalls and breakages.
Despite the repair work done by 82 RCC HQ (25BRTF) for this road stretching from Chakpikarong to Sugnu, it is shoddy and does not last for more than a few months. The situation is aggravated in monsoons with frequent accidents due to the worn out roads.
The road was blacktopped just a few months back by the aforementioned agency. Therefore it is apparent that sub-standard materials were used and certain norms were not followed in the construction, it alleged. Moreover, the Chakpikarong Government Higher Secondary School, one of the oldest schools of the region is still without basic facilities like infrastructure, classrooms, toilet blocks and teachers, etc, it added.
ALT also mentioned that the recent Government order dated June 17, 2021 for implementation of 2nd phase 'School Fagathansi Mission' to 60 schools under Education (S) Department, Manipur does not include the said school.
ALT, Chakpikarong Branch further appealed to the concerned authority to look into the matters urgently in the larger interest of the people of Chakpikarong Sub-division in general and the students' fraternity of the region in particular.
