State Govt fairly implements the Central schemes and projects in Manipur, says CM

IMPHAL, Jun 30 : The first meeting of BJP after the appointment of its new president A Sarda Devi was convened today at Nityaipat Chuthek.
The emergency meeting was conducted in the presence of different party leaders including National spokesperson Dr Sambit Patra, who is also the incharge of BJP Manipur, organisation secretary of North East Zonal, Ajay Jamwal; Abhay Kumar Giri; organizational general secretary of BJP Manipur State and Nagaland, MLAs, Minister, office bearers and former presidents of  BJP Manipur unit.
At the meeting, Chief Minister N Biren Singh said that the State Government has fairly implemented the Central schemes and projects in Manipur under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said that the State Government had also provided  CMHT cards to many on witnessing their hardship at the time of seeking healthcare facilities.
Stating that booklets highlighting the developmental projects taken up by the Government have also been released,  he said that people can understand the works done by the Government if they go through the booklets.
He also appealed to BJP workers to study the booklets.
The CM further stated he envies the BJP for it values Nationalism and discipline.
Saying that there should not be any lack of trust between the Government and the BJP workers, he appealed to all MLAs, Ministers and party leaders to be very cautious while making any statements.
Sarda Devi also spoke at the meeting.
She claimed that BJP is the largest political party in the world , which holds power in the majority of the Indian States.
"However, if not careful with our words and deeds, we (BJP members and workers) on the same boat will be sunk together," she cautioned.
Saying that strengthening the party at the booth level is necessary, she added that the party achieving its target of winning  40 seats in the Assembly elections will be difficult if youths and Mahilla are not strengthened.
She also appealed to all the senior leaders of BJP to support her for her to perform duties effectively.
