Air purifiers donated

IMPHAL, Jun 29 : Wing Commander (Retd) N Rajnikanta Singh, a resident of Kwakeithel, donated four air purifiers to Shija hospital today in support of the people of Manipur in battling coronavirus.
The air purifiers were handed over to Dr Palin Khundongbam, Chairman cum Managing Director of Shija hospital today at his office.
Proper ventilation in the living area may prevent illnesses and reduce transmission of viruses and with the COVID-19 pandemic prevalent in the State, the air purifiers donated by the retired Airforce Officer will help combat the concerns about possible aerosol transmission and COVID-19 associated complications, said a statement issued by Shija hospital.
Shija hospital extended gratitude to N Rajnikanta Singh for his generous and thoughtful donation during such trying times.
