All Manipur Artist Relief Committee floated

IMPHAL, Jun 15: With a view to extend some assistance to the artists of the state during the pandemic, 'All Manipur Artist Relief Committee' was formed today at the residence of MLA L Sushindro.
L Sushindro was appointed as chairman; S Mangoljao, chairman, Film Forum Manipur as vice chairman; Sougrakpam Hemanta, life time secretary, Sumang Leela Council as vice chairman; Ranjit Ningthouja, secretary, Cine Writers as convenor; Birendra Salam, vice chairman, FFM as co-convenor and Y Nilachandra (general secretary, Sumang Leela Council) and T Lokendra as executive members.
The office of the committee will be at Shankar Talkies at Lamphel Sanakeithel and it will provide assistance to artist registered under Film Forum Manipur and Sumang Leela Council. Ranjit Ningthouja appealed the public to donate to the committee to help the artist during such trying times.
