The relatives went to get medicines from PHC Oinam since the PHC allotted for Khongdei areas has no doctors at present.
Esther passed away before the medicines could reach on Sunday.
The relatives then admitted the other members of the family, Wantson Khullak (45 yrs) with 2 of his children, Catherine (14 yrs) and Gladson (10) to the District Hospital, Senapati.
The doctors at District Hospital, Senapati termed it a case of mushroom poisoning after studying the symptoms of the patients.
Wantson resented that if the PHC was functional in their area, his wife might not have to face such an unfortunate end.
Earlier, the Poumai Naga Frontal Organizations during their last visit found that the PHC Khongdei was not functional with no medical machinery and no doctor and the construction of the building and the barrack type quarter have not been completed.
The work order of the PHC was issued in 2011 but the construction work has not been completed till date.
