Manipur Judo Assn condoles demise of coach Surchandra

The Manipur Judo Association has convened a virtual meeting to condole the untimely demise of Asem Surchandra today at 2 pm.
A precious gem is lost with the demise of Asem Surchandra who was a reputed National coach and a referee, said Manipur Judo Association in a press release. Surchandra was working as a chief coach of JFI Coaching Centre in Mayang Imphal before his demise, it recalled and added that Manipur has lost a good coach and an educator with his demise.
The vacuum created on his death will remain unfulfilled for a long time, it said.
A two minute silence was also observed as a mark of respect to the late soul, the release added.
