Many decry

Several organisations continue to strongly denounce the grenade attack at All Manipur Students Union (AMSU) headquarters at DM University Campus on June 8.
Manipur Peace and Integrity (MAPI) Council in a press release condemned the attack in the strongest term to AMSU which is one of the oldest and prominent student body not only in Manipur but in the entire Northeastern States.
Terming the incident as really unfortunate MAPI Council appealed to all concerned not to resort to such heinous acts in future which is intended to diminish the spirit of AMSU especially during this grim situation of COVID-19 pandemic.
Twipra Students Federation (TSF) also denounced the attack to AMSU which has been taking up important and sensitive issues for the protection and upliftment of the indigenous people of Manipur.
TSF also demanded that the perpetrators should be punished at the earliest and also extended solidarity to AMSU.
Thangmeiband Apunba Nupi Lup (THANIL), Jiri Ima Meira Paibi Apunba Lup (JIMPAL), the Jiri College Students Union and the Kakching Khunou College Students Union also condemned the attack to AMSU and urged the authorities concerned to probe the matter and punish the perpetrators as accordingly.
