Amur Falcons

IMPHAL, May 5: Irang and Chiulon, the two satellite radio transmitter tagged Amur Falcons  are fast approaching their breeding grounds in Northeast China, Mongolia and Siberia, said Tamenglong Forest Division.
Today, Chiulon was flying over Wuhan City and Irang near Tianjin city of China, said officials.
It may be noted that the two birds Irang and Chiulon are named ‘wildlife conservation ambassadors’.
They were fitted with the satellite radio transmitters to study their migratory patterns.
